Dinah Weissmann, PharmD, PhD. Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board

Dinah Weissmann has served as Biocortech's Chief Executive Officer since founding the company in 2001. Dr Weissmann is an expert in neurobiology, with 20 years' experience in R&D project management. Prior to founding Biocortech, Dinah was a Senior Scientist at Roussel Uclaf (now Sanofi-Aventis). Her research background includes an appointment as a Research Director at the CNRS (Center for National Research and Science). She was also a co-founder of the CNRS Neuropharmacology lab at Lyon University. She is the author of 55 scientific publications and 6 patents in the field of neurosciences. Dinah received her PharmD and PhD from Strasbourg University, a leading European neurosciences centre.

Professor Jean-François Pujol, MD, PhD. Chief Scientific Officer

Professor Pujol has served as Biocortech.s CSO since co-founding the company in 2001. Jean-François Pujol has 35+ years of experience in CNS research in academia and industry. He is the former Head of CNS Department of Roussel Uclaf (now Sanofi-Aventis), with a staff of 50. He is the former Head of the PET Centre (Lyon, CERMEP), and directed 4 labs (both INSERM and CNRS) for 25 years. He sits on the Board of Directors at numerous scientific organizations in Europe (University of Lyon, Neuroscience Fed Institute, Liège Cyclotron, Belgium). Jean-François Professor at Laennec Medical School (Lyon, France), and author of 200+ publications and 10+ patents in CNS. Jean-François received his MD and PhD from Lyon University.

Samuel Bengio	Director Former GP and co-founder of the first Spanish VC, Samuel brings a financial and entrepreneurial first of class expertise to Biocortech. Before managing, as CEO, a high tech company, Ecensity, Samuel was previously VP Europe at Sybase.
